	As a professional editor with ten years of experience in nonfiction publishing houses and a further 13 years as a freelancer, Marian's work has covered everything from magazine proofing to working with authors to create 1500-page legal compliance manuals for small businesses, She has edited checklists, appendices, tables, diagrams, and various other technical material. As a writer, she specializes in suiting the style to the audience, whether that means interpreting legal jargon for a business professional or presenting information in a lively, easy-to-read format for a magazine audience. Marian is based in the Vancouver, B.C., area, but has often worked with clients located outside this area, such as Ontario, Illinois, Oregon, California, and New Mexico.
